Reclamation – Culture, Place, Faith

The Netherlands

Bio: I was a child of British aid workers, raised in 7 countries; Botswana, Zimbabwe, France, The USA, Turkey, Switzerland. I came to live in the United Kingdom for the first time at age 17. As an adult, I've lived in Indonesia, China, The UAE, France and The Netherlands accompanying my husband in his employment. I started blogging and creative writing after becoming a mother. Having my daughter inspired me to think in particular about childhood, culture, place and faith. I'm an English Literature graduate and I've worked as an English teacher and primary school teacher since I left university in various schools and countries. Today, I live in the northwest of England with my family. I have written my first (unpublished) novel, Traveller in the Dark.
