Bio: I was a child of British aid workers, raised in 7 countries; Botswana, Zimbabwe, France, The USA, Turkey, Switzerland. I came to live in the United Kingdom for the first time at age 17. I worked in Indonesia after graduating and later accompanied my husband in his employment to China, The UAE, France and The Netherlands. I started blogging and creative writing after becoming a mother. Having my daughter inspired me to think in particular about childhood, culture, place and faith. I have a degree in English Literature and I've worked as an English teacher and primary school teacher. Today, I live in the northwest of England with my family. I have written my first (unpublished) novel, Traveller in the Dark.
